Katherine Espano is a writer who lives in Jacksonville, Florida. She is the author of The Sky's Dustbin, a poetry collection, and The Infinity Bloom, a novel. Her poems and short stories have appeared in Copper Nickel, The Pinch, The Massachusetts Review, Southern Indiana ReviewLake Effect, Green Mountains Review, Chattahoochee Review, Sycamore Review, Louisiana Literature, Valparaiso Poetry Review, Spoon River Poetry Review, and Jabberwock Review, among others. Her book of poetry, The Sky's Dustbin, won the 2014 Bitter Oleander Press Library of Poetry Book Award. She received a Florida Artist Enhancement Grant, and a poem and story were nominated for the Pushcart Prize. With a BA from Carnegie Mellon University and an MFA from the University of Florida, Katherine teaches creative writing at the University of North Florida.
